RaChelly (Chelly) Abraham-Eitan has published 11 books of poetry in Hebrew,3 books of poetry in English, translated from Hebrew, 2 literary research studies and a children book. Abraham-Eitan holds a PhD from Bar-Ilan University and won the Literature Department Prize both to her master work and doctoral dissertation. Rachelly has received several honorary certificates and honorary doctorates from the International Academy of Art and the World Congress of Poets. Her poems and reviews have been published in many literary magazines and have been translated into many languages. She was a participant in the Ministry of Education’s Guest Author project and is a member of the Sal Tarbut organization. Her books have won prestigious prizes. She has been awarded 2nd place at the 2016 36th World Congress of Poets and at the World Congress of Poets 38th, Oct. 2018 in China. She won the Prime Minister’s 2017 Award for Poetry. In 2005 she established the Modi’in Writers' House Association and serves as its chairwoman until today. In 2008 she established the literary magazine Shvilim and is its editor -in-chief.
